1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to all mobile applications and games published by Codo Logix and its affiliated developer accounts on Google Play, the Apple App Store and other platforms (together, the "Apps"), and to the website codologix.com (the "Website"). In this policy, "Codo Logix", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Codo Logix; "you" refers to the user.
Some Apps may have an app-specific privacy notice or in-app disclosure that adds detail for that App. Where it does, that notice applies together with this policy. By installing or using our Apps or Website, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy.
Summary: Most of our Apps work without an account. We collect limited technical data needed to run the App, measure performance, fix crashes and show ads. We do not sell your personal information. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing support@codologix.com.
2. Information we collect
a) Information you give us
- Contact & support: your name, email address and message content when you contact us, send feedback or submit a form.
- Account data (only in Apps that offer accounts): email address, display name and profile information you choose to provide.
- Content you create: text, photos, audio, documents or other files you choose to process in an App. Unless an App clearly states otherwise, this content is processed on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.
b) Information collected automatically
- Device & app information: device model, operating system and version, app version, language, time zone, screen size and network type.
- Identifiers: advertising identifiers (Google Advertising ID / Apple IDFA, only where permitted), app-instance or installation IDs, and IP address.
- Usage data: features used, screens viewed, session length, in-game progress and events, used in aggregate to improve the Apps.
- Diagnostics: crash reports, performance data and error logs.
- Approximate location: derived from IP address, used for ad delivery, analytics and regional settings.
3. Device permissions
Some Apps request access to device features only when needed for a feature you use. You can grant or revoke permissions at any time in your device settings. Typical examples:
| Permission | Why it may be used |
|---|---|
| Camera | Scanning, photo capture, translation, identification or AR features. |
| Microphone | Voice input, voice changer, recording or voice-translation features. |
| Photos / storage / files | Opening, editing, saving, printing or sharing files you select. |
| Location | Maps, navigation, weather, compass or location-sharing features (see Section 9). |
| Contacts | Only when a feature requires choosing a contact; contacts are not uploaded unless clearly stated. |
| Notifications | Reminders, alerts and updates you opt in to. |
| Bluetooth / Wi-Fi / local network | Connecting to TVs, printers, remotes or other devices on your network. |
We do not use permissions for purposes other than the feature they are requested for.
4. How we use information
- To provide, operate and maintain the Apps and their features;
- To diagnose crashes, fix bugs and improve performance and stability;
- To understand how the Apps are used and improve them;
- To show advertising, measure ad performance and prevent ad fraud;
- To process purchases and subscriptions and restore them on your devices;
- To respond to support requests, feedback and business inquiries;
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions;
- To protect the security and integrity of our services.
5. Legal bases (EEA, UK & Switzerland)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal data on the following bases: performance of a contract (to provide the App you use), legitimate interests (security, analytics, crash reporting and improving our services), consent (personalized advertising and certain optional features — you may withdraw consent at any time), and legal obligation.
6. Third-party services
Our Apps use trusted third-party services that may collect information as described in their own privacy policies. Depending on the App, these may include:
| Service | Purpose | Privacy policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google Play Services | Core app functionality | Link |
| Google AdMob | Advertising | Link |
| Google Analytics for Firebase | Analytics | Link |
| Firebase Crashlytics | Crash reporting | Link |
| AppLovin (MAX) | Advertising & mediation | Link |
| Unity Ads / Unity LevelPlay | Advertising & mediation | Link |
| Meta Audience Network / Facebook SDK | Advertising & attribution | Link |
| GameAnalytics | Game analytics | Link |
| AppsFlyer / Adjust | Install attribution | AppsFlyer · Adjust |
| RevenueCat | Subscription management | Link |
Not every App uses every service listed. The Data safety section on Google Play and the App Privacy label on the App Store show what each specific App collects.
7. Advertising & consent
Many of our Apps are free and supported by ads. Ad partners may use advertising identifiers and similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see them and measure their performance. Where required, ads may be personalized based on your interests only with your consent.
- EEA, UK & Switzerland: we show a consent message (Google User Messaging Platform or an equivalent IAB TCF-certified tool) before personalized ads are served. You can change your choice at any time from the App's settings or privacy options, where available.
- iOS: we request permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt before accessing the IDFA. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized using the IDFA.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your device's Google settings.
- US states: you can opt out of targeted advertising as described in Section 14.
8. Purchases & subscriptions
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. We receive limited transaction information (such as a purchase token, product ID, purchase status and country) to deliver and restore your purchases.
9. Location features
Some Apps (for example maps, navigation, weather or family-safety apps) use device location to provide their core features. Precise location is only accessed after you grant permission. In apps that share location with other people — such as family members — location is only shared with people you or they explicitly invite and approve, and either party can stop sharing at any time. We do not sell location data and do not use precise location for advertising.
10. Children's privacy
Most of our Apps are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Where an App is designed for or may appeal to children, we comply with applicable laws such as COPPA and the Google Play Families Policy, use only certified ad networks with child-directed settings, and disable personalized advertising.
If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact support@codologix.com and we will delete it promptly.
11. Sharing & disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:
- With service providers listed in Section 6 that help us operate, analyze and monetize the Apps;
- With publishing or business partners that operate an App with us, under agreements requiring them to protect your information;
- When required by law, court order or a valid request from a public authority;
- To protect the rights, property or safety of Codo Logix, our users or others;
- In connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case the recipient will be bound by this policy or an equivalent one.
12. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. Support emails are typically kept for up to 24 months. Analytics and crash data are retained according to our providers' settings (generally 2 to 14 months). Account data is kept until you delete your account or ask us to delete it. Data on your device remains there until you delete it or uninstall the App.
13. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls and trusted infrastructure providers — to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your data.
14. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy;
- Correct inaccurate information;
- Delete your personal information;
- Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time;
- Data portability;
- Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information or targeted advertising (California and other US states). We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense; you can still opt out of ad personalization through your device settings or by contacting us;
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
To exercise these rights, email support@codologix.com. We will respond within 30 days (or the period required by law) and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. We may need to verify your request.
15. Data deletion requests
You can request deletion of your data from any Codo Logix App at any time:
- Email support@codologix.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request".
- Include the App name, the platform (Android or iOS), and — if the App has accounts — the email address or user ID linked to your account.
- We will confirm your request and delete the associated personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep certain information to comply with legal obligations (for example, transaction records).
In Apps that offer accounts, you may also delete your account directly from the App's settings. Uninstalling an App removes the data stored locally on your device. Data held by third-party providers (such as advertising IDs) can be reset from your device settings.
16. International transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses to protect transferred data.
17. Website & cookies
Our Website collects information you submit through contact forms (name, email, company, message) to respond to your inquiry. Our web server may record standard log data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited for security and performance. The Website uses only essential cookies (for example, a session cookie that protects our contact form from spam). If we add analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will update this policy and request consent where required.
18. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the "Last updated" date. Significant changes may also be notified within the Apps. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
